JUNE 13, 2023 - THIRD AND FINAL READINGS OF THE EMGI ASP, LUB & MDP IS APPROVED

JULY to AUGUST 2023 - PRE-APPLICATION MEETINGS AND ENGINEERING DESIGNS

SEPTEMBER to NOVEMBER 2023 - SUBDIVISION DETAILED DESIGN COMPLETED

DECEMBER 2023 - LOT PRE-SALES COMMENCE!

JULY 5, 2024 - SUBDIVISION APPLICATION IS APPROVED

NOVEMBER 2024 - DEVELOPMENT PERMIT 60/24 IS APPROVED

COMPLETED:

  • ASP First Draft submitted May 2022 to the MD of Bighorn

  • Second Open House was March 23, 2022

  • Public engagement via coffee meetings and site walking tours with locals, engineers, realtors and government employees.

  • September 13, 2022 - First Reading of the EMGI ASP is passed at the MD of Bighorn Council Meeting

  • October and November, 2022 - Public Hearings for the ASP and LUB & MDP Amendments completed

  • January 10, 2023 - Second Reading of the EMGI ASP is passed at the MD of Bighorn Council Meeting

  • June 13, 2023 - Third Reading of the EMGI ASP is approved at the MD of Bighorn Council Meeting

  • July 5, 2024 - Subdivision Application is approved

  • November 2024 Development Permit 60/24 is issued

IN PROCESS:

  • Dogwood tree reclamation for parks around Alberta - Stems are cut and processed for planting around the province from the EMGI lands

  • Alberta rosehips are sustainably cut and processed for use in local soap products and natural ingredients from the EMGI lands

  • Developer Agreement in progress - Off Site Levy model is being developed

  • Alberta Transportation applications and Traffic Accommodation Strategy is submitted

  • Development Permit 60/24 approved and subdivision construction is being scheduled
